Our MFL curriculum aims to create children who:

can communicate verbally and in written form using simple Spanish words, phrases and sentences

understand Spanish cultures and customs
Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) is delivered as a weekly lesson in Key Stage Two (Year 3 – 6). Our MFL curriculum focuses predominantly on the Spanish language and culture, following the scheme ‘Language Angels’. During their weekly lesson, children learn core vocabulary in order to speak, listen and write in Spanish. Learning often links to topic areas to bring the language to life.
