School Uniform

At Forsbrook CE Primary school, we pride ourselves on our smart school uniform. This is important to us as it sets a high standard for attitude and behaviour and allows children to understand the importance of being a part of a community that they can feel proud to be a part of.

Full details of our school uniform policy can be found below: 

 

Girls:  Grey skirt or tailored trousers, White shirt Blouse, Navy Blue V-neck sweatshirt

or cardigan with school logo or if preferred navy knitted V-neck jumper or cardigan,

school tie (elasticated tie for Years 1 & 2, without elastic for Years 3, 4, 5, & 6)

Blue or Yellow checked summer dress during the summer months.

 

Reception children to wear a white polo shirt with school logo and do not need to have a tie.

Black school shoes not trainers.  (Please avoid shoes that have high heels for health & safety reasons).

 

PE KIT: House team T-shirt, plain navy shorts/PE knickers, for the older children a navy netball skirt.  Black pumps or trainers

Boys: Grey tailored trousers, White shirt, Navy Blue V-neck sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo or if preferred navy knitted V-neck jumper or cardigan, school tie (elasticated tie for Years 1 & 2, without elastic for Years 3, 4, 5, & 6)

PE KIT: House team T-shirt, plain black shorts, Black pumps or trainers.   

 

There will be times when other items of kit or equipment will be required such as football boots, football socks, swimming kit.  Swimming trunks (not Bermuda shorts type) swimming costume (one piece not bikini).

General Standards of Presentation

To maintain high standards of presentation and for health & safety reasons, we ask all parents: 

- to ensure that long hair is tied back at all times. 

- to ensure that any bobbles and bows that are worn are small and reflect the school uniform colours only.

- to refrain from fashion hair styles during term time. Hair dye (of any colour) and tram lines are not permitted as part of our school uniform policy.

· to ensure that earrings are a small plain stud only and we ask that these are removed during P.E days. 

· to ensure that children wear black school shoes NOT trainers, boots, heeled shoes or open-toe sandals.
