The purpose of the Pupil Premium funding is to raise the achievement and aspirations of disadvantaged groups of children.  Pupil Premium is intended to help schools to provide targeted support to improve the life chances of children and young people who face additional challenges in their lives so that they can reach their full potential.

 

Our aims:

• To increase the attainment and progress of those pupils entitled to Pupil Premium to ensure the gap is closing between them and with their peers nationally;

• To provide behavioural, emotional and social support through a targeted nurture programmes for those pupils who benefit from such support;

• To provide enrichment opportunities for Pupil Premium pupils who may otherwise have little or no access to such activity.
