Miss Thake
My name is Miss Thake. I have been a teacher at Forsbrook since January 2022 but I was actually a pupil here many years ago. I currently teach the Year 4 children and my aim is to help each child to realise their potential and develop a lifelong passion for learning. I chose to work in primary education because I enjoy the variety of the curriculum but history is definitely my favourite subject and I was delighted to be offered the opportunity to become History Lead in addition to my role as Class Teacher.
When I'm not at school, I spend most of my time with my son, Alfie, which often involves driving him to and from his various extra-curricular activities. I also love to lose myself in a good book and am a member of a local reading group where I'm encouraged to discover new authors and try out different genres. I enjoy crafts too and usually have several projects on the go. I really like the challenge of learning a new skill and am a firm believer that you are never too old to try something different
