Teaching & Support Staff

Miss Cotton
Hi,
my name is Miss Cotton and I have been a teacher here at Forsbrook since 2015. It is an absolutely incredible school and one that I am so proud to be a part of. I have worked across both Key Stages and am currently the Year 3 teacher.
In my role as teacher, my aim is to engage all children by finding their driver and make their learning journeys as fun as possible. We aren't afraid of a challenge however and love to tackle anything set. That's the ethos in our class and my ethos as a teacher on the whole.
In my home life, I enjoy walking my dog, Albert, who is my little fur-baby. We love scaling mountains and going on great hikes together. I also enjoy horse riding and am fortunate enough to ride horses most weekends. You'll usually find me trotting around my local country park.
You may have guessed that I am a great animal lover and so the eco life is one that I try to live by and an ethos I try to instil in our children. There's only one world and we should take great care of it. I feel that our sustainability curriculum at Forsbrook may just create a child who has the next great invention to sort the world's pollution problem, or the next great leader to drive forward amazing changes in the way we live. That's the dream! Whatever happens, we definitely have a generation of children who are amazingly aware of how to care for their environment.
